1, 2, and 3 Series Protectors

The Protector 1 overtemperature control system offers reliable thermal protection by utilizing a heat-sensitive fuse to detect overheat conditions. Positioned inside a thermowell in contact with the heater sheath, the fuse cuts power to the heater when low liquid levels are detected, preventing damage.

The Protector 2 and Protector 3 systems provide the same reliable overtemperature protection as Protector 1, with additional features. These systems incorporate a heat-sensing thermostat that cuts power if the heater reaches a preset overheat point due to low liquid levels. The heater can be quickly restored to operation by pressing the reset button on the control panel.

Protector 3 is specifically designed for flexible lead or high-temperature fluoropolymer (PTFE) heater applications, providing advanced protection in harsh environments.

Additional options P4, P5, P6, P7, and P8 are also available for varied applications.
